Our mission is to provide leadership in designing Atlanta’s public realm. The public realm is made of streets, parks, squares, and civic buildings. They are our public spaces; the land we all share as residents of our city. The quality of our public realm makes public life more enjoyable or less desirable. Our public spaces work best when they incorporate multiple functional and aesthetic components such as, high quality materials, flexible furnishings, canopy trees, good architecture, public art, pedestrian lighting, and more.
