The City of Atlanta's City Planning Studio and Historic Preservation department celebrate this year's Preservation Month with two tours of historic music venues and spaces. The first of our tours was held on May 2nd with Sweet Auburn Works. The second tour will be held at Little 5 Points on May 30th. Tour leaders and guests will meet at the 5 Points Community Center and walk along Euclid Ave to Moreland Ave. We will hear from area community leaders and take a look at historic venues like the Star Bar and Criminal Records, as well as the many public artworks. The tour will focus on spaces that served Atlanta's most prominent music legends and events.
