The Atlanta Department of City Planning and the National Organization of Minority Architects are presenting a 45-minute candid conversation with 4 African American Women Architects whose careers are impacting design in Atlanta. Shelly-Anne "Tulia" Scott, NOMA Atlanta Chapter President, will guide the discussion among 3 Atlanta-based Architects. The panel consists of Cheryl McAfee, CEO of McAfee3 Architects, Dyesha Holmes and Carine Kroke. Each woman is in a different stage of their career. They will highlight the changes, the current challenges and the future of African American women architects who make up one half of one percent of the profession.
