About the Public Space Studio

The Public Space Studio’s mission is to provide leadership in designing Atlanta’s public Realm. The public realm comprises streets, parks, squares, and civic buildings. These are our public spaces; the land we all share as residents of our city. Our Public Spaces work best when they incorporate multiple functional and aesthetic components such as high-quality materials, flexible furnishings, canopy trees, good architecture, public art, pedestrian lighting and more.
